Description: The best way to describe Cenric is completely average for a vampire. He shares the same tall height, pale skin, white hair, and jewel-toned eyes as just about every other vampire with very little to actually set him apart. Aside from his height he is fit but not terribly muscular; most of his strength attributed to what is natural for his race despite his role as a blacksmith's apprentice.
His style of dress tends to fall in line with someone who is fairly poor, something that is hardly out of the ordinary in Cadena's vampire quarter. He occasionally dons a hooded cloak if he really desires to escape the notice of those who might harass a vampire but doesn't bother most of the time.
Family: Mother and father, two older siblings and four younger.

Personality: Cenric is a rather brash young man, one who seemingly cares little for the subtlety almost required to live out the vast majority of his existence without attracting the ire of others. His temper is definitely what you’d consider short, little tolerance held for people who try to sorely wrong him or harm those close to him. In this way he is also fiercely loyal to those he comes to trust, his fairly short temper and his loyalty often combining to get him into trouble.
Biography: Throughout his entire seventeen-year existence Cenric has resided in Cadena of Estrin, specifically in its vampire quarter. It certainly wasn’t what you’d call a particularly wealthy area of town, a common trait shared by many of the vampire quarters in this part of Med Temra, and although they had a mutually beneficial arrangement the relationship between the vampires and the humans that primarily made up the city has always been strained.
Like any other vampire he was born with a human appearance with only his pale hair and his unusual eyes to mark him for what he truly was. Similar to many of those in the neighbourhood his family was too poor to afford schooling so Cenric is unable to read or write.
When he was very young a plague swept across Estrin, devastating the city states and Cadena was no different. It claimed three of his siblings and a number of his extended family. He was forced to watch as his siblings slowly wasted away in his own home before they were taken away to the sanatorium where they died.
When he became a full vampire at twelve he joined his parents and older siblings in general labour work in order to bring in money to help support their family. However, at fifteen his parents surprised him by announcing that they had ferreted away enough of their hard-earned money to be able to afford an apprenticeship for him, something they had been unable to do for his older siblings. It had caused no small amount of tension in the family at first but his siblings eventually accepted that Cenric would get this chance to potentially become more than what he was born into.
Due to his race and his rather disconcerting eyes there were not many humans who would take him on and so he became apprenticed to a blacksmith in the Vampire Quarter, one of the few services available. He has already served two years of his apprenticeship with five more years ahead of him. So far he has proven to be a rather dedicated student in the hope that completing his apprenticeship will help improve the lot of his family.
