An island chain off the southeastern coast of Temra, the Aquarion Isles are inhabited almost entirely by merfolk. The largest of these islands, Nereid, is the only significant area of land in Temra to be controlled and owned primarily by the mer, and its eponymous capital is the only mer capital to be entirely landlocked.
